Information we monitor about visitors to our website

During any visit to our site, the pages you see, along with a short text file called a ‘cookie’, are downloaded to your computer. Many websites do this because cookies facilitate useful features such as the ability to identify whether a user has successfully logged into the site or to find out whether the computer (and probably its user) has visited the website before. Cookies help to deliver a more-user friendly and improved website experience.

Google Analytics

When someone visits our website we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard Internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

General Data Protection Regulations 2018 (GDPR)

Personal data stored on clients: Names, addresses, keysafe codes, alarm codes, email address and contact number

1. Processing on behalf of Busy Bee Domestic Cleaning
Clients’ details are solely for the use of Sarah Nicholls (Business owner of Busy Bee Domestic Cleaning) and those who are assigned (Busy Bee Domestic Cleaning sub- contactors) to those individual clients.
Each Busy Bee Domestic Cleaning sub-contractor will only use clients’ data (names, addresses and contact numbers) to assist them with their cleaning sessions, for example addresses to locate homes and contact numbers to inform them of a session cancellation.

2. Security
Clients’ details are held in the office, which is located at Sarah Nicholls’ home address.
The property is fully alarmed when not occupied.
The computer is password sensitive and this is only known by Sarah Nicholls.
Paper copies handed to Busy Bee Domestic Cleaning sub-contactors, are kept confidential under the Busy Bee Domestic Cleaning sub-contractors’ agreement and once contract is terminated between contractors, all data (and keys) are to be returned to Sarah Nicholls to be shredded.
Keys, keysafe and alarm codes are only to be used by Sarah Nicholls and the assigned Sub-contractor and only during the agreed day/s and time/s set out and agreed between Busy Bee Domestic Cleaning and the individual client.
Codes and keys will be stored safely and confidential at all times and only Sarah Nicholls and the assigned Sub-contractor will have access to these.

3. Individual Rights
Client’s have the right to request to see any personal information held on them, by Busy Bee Domestic Cleaning and Sarah Nicholls will co-operate fully to assist clients to exercise their rights under the GDPR.

4. Breach Notification
Sarah Nicholls will notify client’s if a breach of personal data is detected (within 24 hours).

5. Staffing
Busy Bee Domestic Cleaning sub-contactors are under agreement to adhere to the policy and procedures relating to confidentiality, security and the care of personal data.
Sarah Nicholls will make sure Busy Bee Domestic Cleaning Sub-contactors are trustworthy, have held or will hold a DBS and will ensure a suitable persons reference is carried out.

6. Transfers to third countries/parties
Sarah Nicholls and Busy Bee Domestic Cleaning sub-contactors will not transfer any personal data to third parties or to bodies outside of the United Kingdom.
Client’s personal Data held, is solely for the use of Busy Bee Domestic Cleaning and not for any other purpose, like marketing.

7. End of Contract
When our cleaning agreement comes to an end, Sarah Nicholls will delete all personal data held within the office on that individual.
The assigned Busy Bee Domestic Cleaning sub-contactor will be asked to return any personal data held on the given individual to Sarah Nicholls to destroy by shredding.
